Privacy Policy

What Headge keeps when you read the catch-up, and what it keeps when you become a member.

Effective 14 August 2026

1. Who We Are

Headge operates the site at www.headge.com, including the For Agents surface. This policy covers that site and membership. Questions go to legal@headge.com.

2. What We Collect

Without a membership, Headge does not ask you to identify yourself. Ordinary hosting logs may record an IP address, a user agent, and the page requested.

With a membership, Headge stores:

  • Email address and a hashed password. Headge does not keep the password in the clear.
  • A session cookie, headge_session: httpOnly, SameSite Lax, lasting 30 days.
  • Follows, watches, and alert preferences.
  • Newsletter preference. It starts off; it is on only if you choose Daily Briefing at signup or turn it on under You.
  • Comments you post on analyst and instrument pages.
  • Agrees and disagrees you mark on views.
  • Briefings generated for your follows and watches.

Headge does not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on the site.

3. How We Use It

To run the membership: sign you in, remember follows and watches, send alerts and the newsletter when those are on, show your comments, and record agrees and disagrees on views. Headge does not sell member data and does not use membership comments or agrees to place views.

4. Cookies

The only first-party cookie Headge sets is the session cookie, and only after you sign in. It is required for the membership to work. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies.

5. Processors

Hosting and datastore live with the operator's cloud provider. If email sending is configured, a mail transport delivers the newsletter. Instrument prices come from Yahoo. Ingest of public sources uses transcription and language models; those pipelines read public YouTube and X material, not your membership comments or agrees.

6. Retention

Membership data lasts until you ask Headge to delete the membership, or Headge closes it. Session tokens expire. Comments remain on the page until you or Headge remove them. Agrees last until you clear them, the view is replaced, or the membership is deleted.

7. Your Choices

On You, you can change follows, watches, alerts, and the newsletter. To correct an email, ask what Headge holds, or delete the membership, write to legal@headge.com.

8. Children

Headge is not directed at children. Do not create a membership if you are under 18.

9. International

Headge is operated from the United States. If you read it from elsewhere, you understand that data is processed in the US.

10. Changes

Headge may update this policy. The Effective date at the top of this page is the current version.
